Dear (elected official),

It has come to my attention that an alarming number of coal power plants have been closed in the United States. The coal technology we use today, for coal power, is some of the most developed, refined, and efficient – running at a superb rate of 99.5% efficiency. It makes no sense to me. Our planet is Co2 deficient – which is one of the byproducts of coal power – by any measurable standard. Jobs in the United States have been taken away from our people, and energy prices have doubled. This is not what we stand for. I want you to do everything in your power to help bring our coal plants back online.

Coal power is one of the most inexpensive, clean, and effective ways of generating electricity. The United States and Europe have frontiered the development of generating clean power from coal to almost 100% efficiency. Yet, somehow, our coal power plants are being shut down faster than we are able to produce alternative energy resources, sending our country back into the dark ages! Why?In the name of clean power? That can’t possibly be the answer. Coal from the ground to your power outlet is much cheaper and less destructive the the environment than any alternatives we are seeing on the market. American individuals and families are losing their livelihood as a result of electricity costs soaring since the closing of our coal plants. Americans are losing their jobs as a result of these plants closing. What is going on, and why? The end doesn’t justify the means. We want our coal power back. We want cheaper energy back. We want our Americans, who lost their jobs as a result of coal plants closing, to have the opportunity to have their jobs back.

Please do everything in your power to send this message – loud and clear – up the chain of command: coal power plants need to be turned back on in the United States. We the people fought for freedom, and created the U.S. Constitution in 1776. In 2016, we the people still believe in the the Constitution, and the ideas of a free country – now more than ever. Please do everything in your power to bring coal power plants back online. Make your voice heard by as many government officials as possible. Be bold. America needs you to speak out. We need you to protect our freedoms – and that includes being free from soaring energy prices. You were elected to perform a service to the public, and that includes protecting the Constitution. Please do everything in your power to uphold the integrity of the Constitution and protect the American public. Make your voice heard by as many people as possible. As Dylan Thomas once wrote, “do not go quietly into the night.” Create a twitter account, and post your strong beliefs in bringing coal back online – include hashtags #bringbackcleancoal and #therfmovement to join the movement of other representatives across this country who are standing up for what is right.

Please do this for me and my family. Please do this for you and your family. Do this for our children, and our children’s children. Uphold the integrity of our Constitution.
