I am increasingly concerned about this country’s inability to develop Thorium power plants due to government regulations. Our U.S. mining industry is currently dumping, every year, enough Thorium to meet any and all of the energy needs for the entire planet for an entire year! This is a major problem, and we need to fix this. Here’s a little tid-bit on thorium. It’s everywhere. It’s in dirt, rocks, and pretty much anywhere you dig around the world. Thorium is not hazardous, relatively speaking. You could put a thorium rock in your pocket for a year, and be just fine. It’s nothing like enriched uranium – that’s for sure! Thorium reactors can produce massive amounts of power. They operate under the same atmospheric pressure as the air we breathe.

This technology was invented under the governments watchful eye in the late 60’s at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, proved it works for 20,000 hours, then shelved. It’s still shelved. It can make the United States a huge competitor in the global energy market, and America desperately needs to be the exported of something. It is one of the most critical issues we are facing in our country that will effect our children. Our government is doing everything in it’s power to prevent this from happening, so let’s make it happen. We need you to push as hard a possible to make this happen. This is important!

Please do everything in your power to send this message – loud and clear – up the chain of command: Thorium power plants need to be developed in the United States. We the people fought for freedom, and created the U.S. Constitution in 1776. In 2016, we the people still believe in freedom, including the idea of cheap energy – now more than ever. Please do everything in your power to protect our rights and the Constitution of the United States of America. Please take action to allow us to develop Thorium power! Make your voice heard by as many government officials as possible. Be bold. America needs you to speak out. You were elected to perform a service to the public. Please do everything in your power to uphold the integrity of the Constitution and the ideas it upholds. Make your voice heard by as many people as possible. As Dylan Thomas once wrote, “do not go quietly into the night.” Create a twitter account, and post your strong belief in developing Thorium power plants. Many people are in the dark on this subject, and need to be enlightened. We potentially have the ability to create an abundance of energy for the entire country – include hashtags #letusdevelopthoriumpower and #therfmovement to join the movement of other representatives across this country who are standing up for what is right.
